Town Hall Meeting Minutes for June 20, 2009

** EVENTS **

- Wednesday, July 1, 1 PM SLT and again at 7 PM SLT: Tiny Dogfight Exhibition in Port Harbor with the RCAF. Free planes for tinies and anyone else who would like to participate.

For those that haven't used a plane with a throttle, there is an aircraft called 'whirlybird in the freebie tiny aircraft that uses the normal flight controls you're used to.

- Thursday, July 2, 7 PM SLT: Iron Melee. Contact Hotspur Otoole for location.

- Friday, July 3: Friday night's event is cancelled due to the holiday.

- Saturday, July 4, 1 - 3 PM SLT: The Steelhead Public Library will open their newest exhibition, "Taking Flight: The Wright Brothers." The opening reception and viewing will be held from 1 to 1:30, followed by readings in the library garden from 1:30 to 3 PM SLT.

'We will read stories by and about the Wright Brothers and other pioneers of early real life aviation. If you have a favorite story, please feel free to bring it with you and share it with us.'

- Summer of Flight Display: This display will be out for the week. Thank you to Hotspur Otoole and Eladrienne Laval for their help.

- Sunday, July 5, 7 PM SLT: Fireworks display at the docks in Port Harbor.

- Friday, July 10, 7 PM SLT: "Stellar Cosmic Nuclear Dance." Location to be announced.

- Please welcome our newest merchant in Port Harbor, Drake Coaliff.

- The Steelhead Naval Services has a recruiting office in Steelhead Port Harbor. If you are interested in signing up, please contact Commodore Nabila Nadir.


** MISC **

- Wednesday, July 1, 5 - 7 PM SLT: Steeltopia will host an "OI Magazine" dance with DJ's Diamanda Gustafson and MelodyBlue Melody.

- Wednesday, July 1, 8 PM SLT: Wacky Wednesday at the Coal Power Plant. This weeks event: Pirates, L$1000 to best male and female.


** RFL **

The Jewellery Auctions in support of RFL continue until Sunday afternoon, July 5th at 5pm SLT, in the Airship Gardens in Steelhead Harbourside (north end of the bridge). There are sets for sale, and rare/ultrarare sets at auction, all proceeds going to RFL and counting toward the Steelhead Salmons' team total.


** TENSAI'S TECH TALK **

“An eventful week for the lindens, trashing our group chat, sodomizing our inventories, and lord knows what else... they have 'completed' a bunch of fixing of the server core today, so if any of you couldn’t log in earlier, you were part of the experiment.

As for our group chat... we are into week 3 of total uselessness. Countless Tickets, Jira's Concierge calls, ranting chats....none of this has helped.”
