The Steelhead Public Library has an exhibit of 'The Wright Brothers.' For those who have not gone to visit, it is a very well put together exhibit with the history of flight and aviation’s well known female pilots. A free version of the Wright glider is for sale at the library gardens.

The exhibit also extends to the Hotel where Hotspur O'toole and Eladrienne Laval have set up their beautiful airplanes for all to see, tiny and regular sized. There's also a free tiny airplane and whirlybird for tinies. The Exhibit will remain up for another week until the 13th.

We're at the last stretch of Relay for Life. To those that have attended dances and events and dropped in a few lindens, to those that put together the events, and those that tried to make sense of all the RFL group notices, a big thank you.

** TENSAI'S TECH TALK **

Seems The lindens realized that they SCREWED UP! go figure... 3 weeks and delivery ratios of .32, that’s 32 percent of the messages attempted actually worked....Well they seem to have worked out a fix and decided to run a test roll to the grid, bringing us to today... the back end of some chat rooms is fixed, but laggy as heck...They installed a new software fix and it didn’t change any sims, yet, but, it does seem to have fixed our chat. I suspect due to being in the test pool for this fix helps ;) They will roll another batch on the 14th with another roll the 15th....
so expect partly cloudy chat for a week or so, unless they push forward.

The scuttle around is that this is the Adult chat filter code...... aka a mature group chats, and an unverified person is in it... they will have the chat filtered out...They wont admit to it, but it's the running theory as to why they wont roll back. At least we have some functionality, after they get it rolled completely out, they expect a 900% increase in successful chat messages.. and reading between he lines, it will be 'fixed'

Due to a new person in charge of rollouts, I've only heard scattered info on the new server version... some highlights: Scripts will no longer lag the heck out of a server when rezzing, particularly mono wearables...not sure, they haven’t released any release notes, just scattered tatters of data [I will look for that info though]

I found a nifty website that lets you search for streams for local radio stations! And the streams are for the most part, compatible with SL!
http://www.thestreamcenter.com/ also if you goto http://www.thestreamcenter.com/pda/ They seem to be more compatible. (btw, these work on cellphones!!!)

Okay, I’ll keep my eyes out for more info on the rollouts, and chat
Thanks for your time!! /hoo
