- Weds: after the Gearz Gig.....over in Steeltopia, Diamanda's back for Wacky Wednesday. Location will take place at SCSE R & D Labs SkyLab in Steeltopia Anchorage with DJ Dia back at the helm 8pm till 10pm PST SLT

- Thursday: Iron Melee, 7:30 pm PST. At Port Merrimac, Roatan.

- Friday: Friday Jazz Formal, Steelhead Ballroom, starts at 7pm. Lunar is going to be putting together the music.

Orhalla Zander discusses making the film Molotov Alva and His Search for the Creator

Orhalla Zander is the founder of the Hobo Junction, formerly known as SecondLife Hobos, and was the Art Director and actor in the movie "Molotov's Dispatches in Search of the Creator" which was filmed entirely within SL. From IMDB "An animated documentary that chronicles an avatar named Molotov Alva and his travels through the virtual world learning of the complex social interactions that take place within Second Life." ** STEELHEAD NEWS **

- A big welcome and hearty hoo to Redsonja Congrejo, newest resident in Port Harbor.

- The lighthouse has always been Steelhead's symbol. It even appears on our flag. The Lighthouse that has been on Katt's island is the last piece of Steelhead's past long before Lunar or Tensai. We finally moved on and put down a new lighthouse that captures Steelhead as it is now instead of its past. Please visit the new Lighthouse and marvel at its MASSIVE size.

- Another great landmark is also changed, the Saloon. It's disuse marked the need for change. In its place there will be a theater and three waterfront stores. Until Lunar can get to the building, we'll be setting down one of Lunar's favorite builds that was never used in Steelhead. The Mannheim Water Tower will serve as a small museum until building can get underway.

- Shanghai residents - For those who have reserved lots, please make sure you pay the land fee for your lots or let Lunar know your intentions/situation. For those who haven't paid, the reserved fish will be removed this Friday.

Shanghai is here...touched down in world at midnight August 10th. For now the sim is going through terraformation. It will take approximately two weeks or so before the sim is open to its residents or perhaps sooner. ATM the sim is not open to anyone to drop prims. It's not even in group yet. Please be patient...it has only been three days.


** RANDOM ACTS OF RP IN STEELHEAD **

In retaliation to the industrialization known as 'Seneca Eastings Gasworks' someone protested by setting afire some cogs in front of the operations.

Please note that Steelhead will not tolerate vandalism from its residents. Anyone caught vandalizing property will be thrown in the jail....along with Willard the Rat. Friendly protest is acceptable. No chaining yourselves to trees either. The redwoods say your skin makes them itch.

An excerpt from the Steelhead Sentinel: “The Steelhead jail has plenty of room for miscreants and hoodlums intent upon disturbing the peace and besmirching the civilized reputation of our fair city!” quoth Sheriff F. Ortega. This reporter heartily concurs and hopes that this will be the first and last such outburst!”
