** EVENTS **

- Wednesday: Club Gearz with Angelica, 6-8

- Wednesday: After the Gearz Gig, in Steeltopia, Diamanda at the Pneumatic Revolution Lounge. Theme - Best in Pirate

- Thursday: Poetry Slam at Der Hut DeJaegers at Winterfell, 5:00 PM SLT

- Thursday: Iron Melee, 7:30 pm PST. Hotspur is working on fighting in the Blake Sea. Location TBA.

- Friday, Sept. 11: In remembrance of September 11th, there will not be a Friday night dance.

** STEELHEAD HARVEST FESTIVAL **

- As part of the celebrations this month, Steelhead will be having a Harvest Festival Hunt throughout all of Steelhead's neighborhoods and including the Isle of Skye in Winterfell. In order to make the hunt especially rewarding, we would request the merchants of Steelhead provide some small items of quality to be found along with the clues. It is preferred that items be harvest or Steelhead related. Contributors should contact Lumina Elvehjem about required permissions and to submit items.

- Saturday, Sept. 12, 6 PM SLT: Wrangler Horse Race Contest in Steelhead Harborside brought to you by Doc Wranglers. Bring your horses, ostrich, cow, or other riding animals and participate for the much coveted Wrangler Cup. Anyone can participate. If you do not have a horse, freebie ones will be provided.

- Saturday, Sept. 12, 7 PM SLT: Our Americana Festival, celebrating the Tall Tales and Legends of America.. Big Foot, Pecos Bill, Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed, Huck Finn, Fuzzball Ortega.

- Friday, Sept.18: Corn Maze Festival - In Steelhead Boomtown. Come find your way through the corn maze to the dance. So wear your best corn outfit or corn colored outfit and get lost in the maze. King and Queen of Corn will be crowned that evening.

- Friday, Sept. 25: Harvest Moon Formal Festival - In the Steelhead Ballroom. Formal event ending the Steelhead Harvest Festival and announcing the winners of various contests we're holding in Steelhead for the Harvest Festival.


** CONTESTS **

- September 18, 2009: Tartan Entry Contest Deadline - For those interested in the tartan contest, the cut off date for submissions is September 18th, 2009. We'll put the entries in Ballroom for voting by the 22nd with a ballot box for your favorite two. Please send your entries by the 18th to Dogg Food.

- September 23, 2009: Deadline for those who are participating in the Steampunk Building Contest to set up your displays in the barn. Please IM TotalLunar Eclipse if you're interested in participating so we can assign you a stall. Judging will occur before the Harvest Moon Festival. Winners will receive cash prizes, ribbons, and bragging rights.
