STEELHEAD SPONSORED COMMUNITY EVENTS

- Failed Romance Novel Covers!

We'll be sending out a book with all the entries of the Romance Novel contest. Flip through the book, laugh, and send Lunar a notecard with your top three favorite covers by Friday at 5pm. Winners announced at the Friday event and via group notice. Money prizes!

- Friday, March 5, 7 PM SLT: A Birthday Celebration for Dr. Seuss - Location TBA. Tensai will more than likely cook up something rather interesting.

Restrictions are as follows: the event must not conflict with a Steelhead Community event like our Tuesday Town Hall meeting or Friday night dance. If that is unavoidable, please contact management before posting your event.

STEELHEAD RELAY FOR LIFE

- Steelhead Salmons Relay For Life Kick-Off party will be Saturday, March 13th at 7:00 PM, held at Club Gearz.

Event boards are being placed around Steelhead. These will contain information regarding RFL events going on around the Grid (not to mention advertising Steelhead's fundraising events for those outside of the Steamlands). If you would like one to put on your lot, or place of business, click the banner at the top of one that's already placed out and choose "Get A Copy", or you can ask Fuzzball or Annechen to place one on your lot.

NAVAL ENGAGEMENTS

- Iron Melee Held Every Thursday. From Hotspur Otoole: “I may not be in for it, I'm going to be otherwise occupied. However, It will go on at Sanctuary Sholes, and I will post the SLURL for that on the Steelhead NING for fast and easy reference.”

Uniforms for the Steelhead Navy are available at Peterman's Goods LTD in Steelhead Capital City. The Ironclads for the navy are sold at Ye Old Curiosity Shoppe in Steelhead Capital City.

STEELHEAD PUBLIC WORKS

By now everyone's noticed the rather unsightly wall across from the hotel. There is a massive rebuilding effort that is currently being done to the buildings that used to be across from the hotel and a few others. The entire square block will be rebuilt, some storefronts will be affected with the change including Peterman LTD., Steadman's Bookshop etc. If you're store is in that area you will be contacted shortly by Lunar.

What we'll be having, a row of brownstone storefronts, better and 'darker' alleys, and elegant buildings that will add to the face of Steelhead.
