- Friday, April 2, 7 PM SLT: A night of Jazz in the Steelhead Ballroom

- Friday, April 9, 7 PM SLT: The 'Kilt lifter' Dance at Steelhead St Helens. Best men's underpants contest at the Kilt Lifter Dance. What's he really wearing under that kilt? Time to find out. Ladies will be the judge for this contest.

- Friday, April 16, 7 PM SLT: THANK GOD TAX SEASON IS OVER Dance at Steelhead Port Harbor - Exact Location TBD

- Friday, April 23, 7 PM SLT: Celebrating the life of Frank Baum, whose birthday is on the 28th of April. Wizard of Oz themed event - Location TBD

- Friday, April 30, 7 PM SLT: Walpurgisnacht. Location - TBA

Sunday
- Smokin' Sunday with DJ Fuzzball Ortega at 7 PM SLT.

If you have an event in Steelhead and would like to announce it or place it in the calendar of events, please visit the Steelhead Ning and add your event. Restrictions are as follows:  the event must not conflict with a Steelhead Community event like our Tuesday Town Hall meeting or Friday night dance. If that is unavoidable, please contact management before posting your event.

STEELHEAD PUBLIC WORKS

- Please join us in welcoming our newest residents:

Cerise Blackheart, jewelry designer who recently set roots in Steelhead Port Harbor on Arbor Avenue. Hopefully we shall see her set up shoppe.  Please stop by and welcome her to the city.

Miss iknmore Xue. Miss Xue is now occupying #3 Shamian Alley in Steelhead Shanghai.  She is a RL Steampunk artist and has opened Steamhead Art Gallery. Please stop by #3 Shamian Alley, say hello to Miss Xue, and peruse her artwork.  We're sure you'll like it!

- Otenth Paderborn is opening up his lot in Shanghai to be used as a temporary sandbox for Steelhead Residents until April 20th. Platform is 1000 meters up in the air. Please clean up your prims after you are finished.

- There are construction materials stored in one of the lots of Shanghai. All citizens (especially scamps) are urged to use the utmost care when walking through the construction area.

- Between the newly constructed builds in Steelhead Capital City are some dark alleyways. Citizens who feel compelled to use these alleys as short-cuts are forewarned.  The alleys are damage enabled.

STEELHEAD RELAY FOR LIFE

From Fuzzball Ortega: Salmons raised L$27622. So far, all teams have managed to raise close to 50,000 USD. And info on our outworld fundraising on the Convio can be found on the Steelhead Ning, cuz we love the Ning . I'll have more information next week. In the meantime, check out the event board, and if you have any fundraising ideas, drop me a notecard
