Town Hall Meeting Minutes for June 16, 2010

STEELHEAD SPONSORED COMMUNITY EVENTS

- Friday, June 18th: "A Day at the Races" in Steelhead Port Harbor.

- Saturday, June 19th, 12 Noon SLT:  "Dancing Under the Stars for RFL" Round Two!

- Saturday, June 19th, 4 PM SLT: RFL Horse Race Event. Sponsored by Steelhead City. L$500 Entry Fee. Entry fee goes to the Steelhead Salmons RFL kiosk.

Three Race Categories:
Horse Race - bring your trusted steed
Mini race - for tinies and small critters
Mammoth Race - any creature over five meters tall category
1000L prize will be awarded to the winner to be placed in the RFL team group kiosk of their choosing.

- Smokin' Sunday with DJ Fuzzball Ortega at 7 PM SLT.

Restrictions are as follows:  the event must not conflict with a Steelhead Community event like our Tuesday Town Hall meeting or Friday night dance. If that is unavoidable, please contact management before posting your event.

ROLEPLAY IN AND AROUND STEELHEAD

There is a temporary truce between Babbage & Steelhead regarding the capture of Ashiko Kuroe in Steelhead by several mercenaries acting on behalf of Babbage and Armada. Lunar & Byron Wexhome have laid out a series of treaties regarding the events and their repercussions.

If you would like to read over the temporary treaties, they can be seen for public viewing at the New Babbage Ning.

STEELHEAD RELAY FOR LIFE

- Kitchen Stadium between Steelhead and New Babbage, July 10th in Babbage at Kitchen stadium: There will be three contestants from each city. They will be given a 'secret ingredient' prim that must be used in two dishes; one that represents Steelhead and the other of Babbage.  Contestants will be given half an hour to create the two dishes. They do not have to be 'food' but small builds that must fit in the space required.  Lunar is excluded from participating but Tensai will be one of the contestants.

- For the RFL builders on the Steelhead Team Salmons lot: The build platform has been graciously loaned to us by the Europan Consulate for us to begin building. For our RFL builders Lunar sent landmarks and notecards to the build platform. If someone did not receive that please IM Lunar or Fuzz or Annechen.

- New Babbage RFL Charity Auction, June 19th, 6 PM SLT. Presented at the wonderful 2nd Annual Illusions White Themed Ball by Piermont Landing. Auctions will be held to dance with several of Babbage's citizens as well as other raffles.
